Now What? Turning AI Experiments into Everyday Impact
Putting your AI tools to work, safely, in higher ed.
The Session
AI is already on your campus.
Faculty and staff are using tools like Claude, Copilot, and ChatGPT to experiment, build, and explore new ideas. Far fewer have turned those experiments into something their campus uses every day.
Teams at Cal Lutheran, Thomas Edison State University, and Ferrilli have. Some built with AI tools like Claude, others directly in Informer's app builder, and every app runs securely on governed data. Their starting points varied: replacing a tool that never quite fit, moving a back-burner project forward, or bringing a long-held vision to life.
The results include an institution-wide advising system, a faculty engagement tool, and a set of apps that manage Ellucian Student SaaS projects from first workshop to data conversion.
They'll show what they built, then talk candidly about their own path there: the groundwork, the people, the governance, and what keeps them building.
Panelists will share their own teams' experiences. Their participation should not be interpreted as an institutional endorsement of the vendor or its products.
