It's definitely been an exciting and fast paced year here at Entrinsik! We are quickly approaching the end of the year and our focus turns to planning for 2010 and enjoying time with family. With the launch of Informer v4.0 this past June our existing customers have watched earlier versions of Informer expand in functionality, applicability, and performance. And ongoing enhancements will provide even more extensive data output and manipulation options.
Over the last 25 years, Entrinsik has earned a reputation for responsive and creative product development and support and we take our relationships with customers and partners very seriously. Westminster College Breaks Through Data Boundaries

Kyle Rima, Database Administrator at Westminster College researched reporting options for about a year and had finally given up, deciding to stay with colon prompt reporting. Alternative reporting solutions they tested were very expensive, extremely time consuming to setup, and not user friendly. However, when Westminster discovered Informer in 2006, they were immediately impressed by the simplicity, ease of setup, and flexibility.

Westminster now creates reports using Informer that extract data from the SQL database used by the admissions office and the MultiValue database used by the rest of campus to uncover discrepancies. Using Informer’s calculated columns feature, they are able to compare data coming from both systems and then sort and group report data on select fields to easily see inconsistencies. Westiminster also uses Informer to pull status reports for both systems.
“I can't imagine now what we would do without Informer”, says Rima. “It is so easy to setup, build, run, and schedule reports. People who use Informer on campus love it”.

Entrinsik Welcomes New Partner - ONIX Systems Group
Onix Systems Group Inc., provider of budgeting solutions for the healthcare industry, and Entrinsik recently announced a partnership to integrate Informer Web Reporting into the Onix Budget System.

Customer Endorses Informer at Packed SEDUG Conference Session

The Informer team recently traveled down to Myrtle Beach for the Southeast Datatel Users Group (SEDUG) Conference at the Hilton. Beautiful weather and a very energized crowd!

Alex Leupen from Entrinsik co-presented with one of our Informer customers, Mark Allen from Coastal Carolina University. "Informer was so easy to install and it took about an hour to begin creating data views & generating reports," said Mark. "We currently have over 900 reports with more than 70 scheduled to run either daily, weekly or monthly."
The session was packed as Mark described how he used Informer to create a LIVE Excel spreadsheet enabling his Admissions Director to access real-time data from their Datatel® database simply by clicking an icon on his desktop. Previously, he was spending an hour each day running queries, cutting & pasting, etc. to get the information he needed. Thanks, Mark for that great example of how Informer saves time and boosts productivity!
