Informer Webinar Draws Over 200 Registrations!


Over 200 people registered for our most recent Webinar “Using Informer with Excel for Powerful Business Intelligence” on July 29th with more than 145 attending the LIVE event.

The Webinar featured a discussion and demonstration of how to use Informer with Microsoft Excel to create interactive pivot tables, charts, graphics, and much more.

Presenters included Charles Barouch, a Freelance Writer/Industry Analyst at eWeek (Ziff-Davis), ISD&I Manager at The New York Botanical Garden, and a regular contributor at International Spectrum, Doug Leupen, President of Entrinsik, and Sharon Shelton, Director of Marketing at Entrinsik.

Carson-Newman College Discovers Innovative A/P Use for Informer

Over 100 end-users at Carson-Newman College enjoy real-time access to admissions, enrollment, academic, budgeting, financial, and payroll data through Informer.

Using an Informer-driven Positive Pay accounts payable process, Carson-Newman can now quickly and securely validate bank transaction data.

Tip from the Informer Support Staff!


Informer lets you view user activity by logging report launches.

If report logging is turned on in System Settings, every launch gets recorded into the file INF_LOG. Information in the log includes the username of the person who launched the report, the report title, the date and time at which the report was launched, the prompt values entered in, how long it took for the report to finish, and much more.

A log-viewing report is currently available for download on our Informer community (along with other useful utility reports). Click here for instructions on how to connect to the community and download reports.
F.W. Davison Partners with Entrinsik to Integrate Informer Reporting Within its Hosted Solution


Entrinsik, along with our Partner F.W. Davison & Company, developer of high performance software solutions for the PEO and HRO industry, recently announced general availability of Informer Web Reporting for their popular hosted version of HR Pyramid. Informer is already a popular reporting solution for F.W. Davison’s non-hosted HR Pyramid customers.

Entrinsik partners with a number of multivalue solution providers like F.W. Davison, to integrate Informer as a real-time, interactive, web-based reporting tool for their package offering.

“The integration of these two packages provides HRPyramid users the real-time reporting functionality of Informer without any fear of accessing unauthorized data,” said Scott Hastings, CEO of F.W. Davison. “Embedding Informer enables our HRPyramid customers to deliver a feature-rich, secure, intuitive web reporting solution to their clients. We are very excited to bring Informer reporting capabilities to our hosted customers."
NEW Informer Case Study: Lees-McRae College


By implementing Informer, Lees-McRae College now has quick, intuitive, and secure access to departmental data in real time, enabling users to access data directly from their IBM® UniData® database using managed UniObject connections and dynamic table joins between related files to produce meaningful reports.

“We have between six and ten daily users who are very satisfied with what Informer can do for them and their department”, says Charles Crumley, Director of Administrative Computing at Lees-McRae College.
SJ+ Systems Integrates Informer With PRC Solution


With the addition of the Web-based Informer tool, PRC customers will experience a fully integrated, intuitive platform for reporting, enabling them to easily access data directly from PRC and view the data in HTML, Excel or PDF formats and e-mail reports. They will also be given the option to extend Informer reporting capability across the rest of their databases.
