    Native Multi-Value Access to Production Data
  • Accesses data directly from Unidata or Universe Databases using managed UniObjects connections. No overhead or setup problems trying to get ODBC type connections going

  • For technical users, TCL or ECL Statements can be entered as selection criteria for a report, providing GET-LIST capabilities

  • Multi-values can be "exploded" into separate values and associated selections can be performed

    Intuitive Reporting Features
  • Reports can be scheduled to run once, daily, weekly, or monthly, and delivered via email at a given date and time

  • Reports can be sent via email to other Informer users and/or any outside email addresses

  • Reports can be reviewed in HTML or exported to Excel, PDF, or Saved-lists

    Security and Control
  • Users are associated with one or more roles as defined by an Informer Administrator

  • Each role specifies which Informer features can be used and what data files and fields can be accessed

  • Informer's individual authentication module seamlessly integrates with LDAP

  • User defined fields support user row-based security, allowing outside parties (e.g. customers, vendors) to view reports with only their information.

  • MS Excel can be the user interface to production data using Informer as its conduit

  • User defined selection criteria can be employed within the Excel spreadsheet

  • MS Excel Pivot Tables can be quickly established providing true BI interface with drill-downs and graphs
